Group Therapy

Group therapy is similar to individual therapy, though as the name suggests, with a group of people and a group therapist. Depending on the type of group you join, the members may or may not have been through similar experiences as yourself. Each group has particular boundaries that each group member is expected to commit to. Things like weekly attendance, participating and sharing and a level of resilience in hearing other members thoughts and feelings.
Some groups run for a set amount of time, this really depends on the type of group and its members.
Group therapy can provide a sense of belonging and membership, your role will evolve within the group and this in turn will support you in your journey in to gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships
